There are a lot of people who are very interested in sports. It has been a part of some people’s daily lives. Because of the fun and entertainment that it brings, no wonder that there are a lot of people being addicted to it.

But when do you call a person a sports fanatic? As defined in dictionary.com, a fanatic is a person with an extreme and uncritical enthusiasm or zeal in a particular subject. So if we say that someone is a sports fanatic, then we can say that that person has an extreme enthusiasm in sports. There are plenty of ways on how you can claim that you are a sports fanatic. Below are some habits and characteristics that sports fanatic share.

You are a certified sports fanatic if:

1. Your room is filled with pictures of different sportsmen (the bigger ones are actually for those you like most).

2. Your television and cable connection is mostly stationed to sports channels- CBS sports, Fox sports news, ESPN daily sports and more.

3. You know a number of sports stores or sports warehouse near your place. You know where to find the sports items from the cheapest to the most expensive ones.

4. You know where to find unique sports items, sports books and magazines that are hard to find.

5. You are not satisfied with just watching games at home. As much as possible, you would want to be in the place of action. You try so hard to save money so you can buy tickets and watch the game real time.

6. You know almost every kind of sports. Most of the time, you don’t only know it, but you also play it.

There are still a lot of indications that you are a sports fanatic. And no matter what happens, sports will forever be a part of your life.
